By accessing or using OSRS Trading Post, creating an account, connecting your Discord account, posting a listing, participating in a giveaway, purchasing a paid feature, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use OSRS Trading Post. Our community rules apply alongside these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity performed through it.
You must provide accurate information when using OTP and may not impersonate another person, seller, staff member, or organization.
Accounts may be connected to Discord for identity verification, community features, roles, listings, vouches, moderation, and other OTP functionality.
Attempting to evade a suspension, ban, restriction, listing limit, giveaway restriction, or other enforcement action through another account is prohibited.
OTP does not permit the use of alternate accounts when doing so violates our Discord rules, bypasses platform restrictions, manipulates marketplace activity, or provides an unfair advantage.
This includes, but is not limited to, using alternate accounts to:
OTP may investigate suspected alternate-account activity using information reasonably available to us through our website, Discord integrations, account records, security systems, and platform activity.
Accounts determined to be violating our alternate-account rules may be restricted, suspended, banned, removed from giveaways, or otherwise subject to moderation.
Giveaway participants must comply with these Terms and all applicable giveaway rules.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, each eligible person may participate only as permitted by the rules of the specific giveaway.
Before prizes are awarded, potential winners may be reviewed and cross-checked for alternate-account activity and other violations of OTP's website and Discord rules.
If OTP reasonably determines that a selected winner used alternate accounts, manipulated entries, abused referrals, attempted to circumvent restrictions, or otherwise violated applicable rules, that participant may be disqualified and another winner may be selected.
OTP may also remove fraudulent, duplicate, manipulated, automated, or otherwise invalid entries.

Users are responsible for the accuracy of their marketplace and storefront listings.
Listings must accurately represent what is being offered or requested, including relevant pricing, account information, quantities, restrictions, and other material details.

OTP may remove, restrict, hide, or modify the visibility of listings that violate our rules or create a security or marketplace-integrity concern.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, OTP provides a platform that allows users to discover and communicate with buyers, sellers, and service providers.
OTP is not automatically the buyer, seller, owner, or provider of products or services advertised by independent users.
Users are responsible for evaluating the people they choose to transact with and for understanding the terms of their transaction before sending payment, digital goods, account information, or other assets.
A user's presence on OTP, donor status, storefront, vouches, account age, Discord role, or other platform status should not be interpreted as an absolute guarantee that a transaction is risk-free.
Where available, users are encouraged to use approved middleman or transaction-protection services for higher-risk transactions.
Scamming, attempted scamming, fraud, chargeback abuse, payment manipulation, impersonation, phishing, and intentionally deceptive trading practices are prohibited.
OTP may investigate reports and take action based on available evidence.
Actions may include warnings, listing removal, marketplace restrictions, account suspension, Discord moderation, permanent bans, or other measures considered appropriate to protect the community.
OTP may display vouches, transaction history, marketplace activity, completed trades, or other reputation-related information.
Users may not artificially inflate or manipulate their reputation.
Fake vouches, self-vouching through alternate accounts, coordinated reputation manipulation, purchased vouches, or intentionally false feedback may result in removal of the affected reputation data and additional account action.
Vouches and reputation information represent community activity and should not be considered a guarantee by OTP regarding any user's identity, trustworthiness, financial condition, or future conduct.
Eligible users may create storefronts subject to OTP's current marketplace rules and limits.
Storefront owners are responsible for the information, listings, images, descriptions, links, and other content displayed through their storefront.
OTP may remove storefronts or content that violate these Terms, our Discord rules, applicable law, or marketplace safety requirements.
Paid storefront customization or subscription features do not exempt a user from OTP rules or moderation.
OTP may offer paid subscriptions, featured listings, tokens, storefront upgrades, promotional placement, or other optional features.
Prices and included benefits are displayed before purchase and may change for future purchases.
Purchasing a paid feature does not grant immunity from moderation or guarantee sales, views, marketplace activity, or transaction success.
Users who are suspended or banned for violating OTP rules may lose access to associated platform features.
Refund eligibility, where applicable, will be determined according to the purchase terms, applicable refund policy, and applicable law.
Certain OTP features may rely on Discord authentication or Discord-connected functionality.
By connecting Discord, you authorize OTP to use information made available through the permissions presented during the authorization process for purposes such as authentication, account linking, roles, marketplace functionality, moderation, community features, and account security.
OTP's Discord community rules remain applicable where stated, including rules concerning alternate accounts, scams, marketplace conduct, and community behavior.
Users may not use OTP to engage in activity that harms the platform, its users, or its infrastructure.
This includes attempting to exploit vulnerabilities, interfere with platform functionality, automate abusive activity, spam requests, bypass rate limits, manipulate platform systems, gain unauthorized access to accounts or data, distribute malicious content, or intentionally disrupt OTP services.
Security vulnerabilities should be reported to OTP staff rather than exploited.
By submitting listings, storefront information, images, reviews, vouches, messages, or other content to OTP, you represent that you have the right to submit that content.
You grant OTP permission to display, process, store, reproduce, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, secure, and promote the platform.
You remain responsible for the content you submit.
OTP reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and take reasonable action to protect the marketplace and community.
Depending on the circumstances, enforcement may include content removal, listing restrictions, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, Discord moderation, giveaway disqualification, or permanent removal from OTP services.
Serious violations may result in immediate action.
OTP may consider website activity, Discord activity, transaction evidence, reports, account history, and other reasonably relevant information when reviewing violations.
Transactions involving digital goods, game accounts, virtual currency, and online services carry inherent risks.
OTP cannot guarantee that every user, listing, transaction, account, service, or digital item will remain available, maintain its value, or perform as represented.
Users participate in marketplace transactions at their own discretion and should take appropriate precautions before completing a transaction.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
OTP may integrate with or link to third-party services such as Discord, payment processors, game-related services, or external websites.
Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
OTP is not responsible for the availability, policies, security, or actions of independent third-party services.
OSRS Trading Post is an independent community and marketplace and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Jagex Limited.
RuneScape, Old School RuneScape, and related trademarks and intellectual property belong to their respective owners.
Users are responsible for understanding and complying with any rules or terms that apply to third-party games or services they choose to use.
OTP may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features as the platform develops.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Maintenance, technical failures, security incidents, third-party outages, or other circumstances may temporarily affect access to some or all OTP services.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OTP and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from use of the platform or transactions between users.
